【醫療用品認證需求增 ICW用戶飆19倍】

檢測認證管理平台International Compliance Workshop (ICW)首席執行官林智謙表示,新冠肺炎疫情在全球多國爆發後,口罩及面罩等醫療用品的需求急增,但買家對採購這些用品的認證要求不清,亦有不法中介公司誤導廠商以假證書出貨,市場對其平台提供的認證服務需求因而急升,幾乎每日都有10個至20個買家主動接洽,平台用戶由半年前約300個,升至如今約6000個,急增19倍。

疫症引發全球醫療物資的搶購潮,醫用口罩的合規性亦引起消費者關注。林智謙稱,歐美市場本身對醫療物資有嚴格把關,但疫情下採購需求緊急,市場資訊混亂,有零售商因而購入持假證書或無效報告進口的產品,「2月時有歐美大型超市與我們接洽,為他們檢查證書,希望為他們介紹有質素的供應商。」

採購目標主攻醫用口罩

ICW半年前推出iSource服務,能夠讓客戶按其需要,短時間內直接找到一批已認可及具質素的供應商。林智謙表示,因應疫情,iSource在約一個月前推出防疫用品專區,買家的查詢亦大增,除了藥房、超市等銷售商,亦有政府、診所、保險公司及其他企業,「他們採購目標多數是醫用口罩,約一成是N95這類高規格口罩,約兩成是面罩及護目鏡,消毒液則不多,呼吸機的查詢都有,但我們未有相關認證專家,亦提供不到這類產品的服務。」

雖然疫情下令平台用戶大增,但林智謙表示, 醫療防疫產品佔整體服務需求仍小,公司業務50%為玩具、雜貨,化妝品及電子產品則分別佔30%及20%。

他指出,近年留意到輕工業品的生產鏈正加快轉移到東南亞等國家,公司自2年前已在越南及印度部署。目前公司全球員工約40多人,在香港、深圳、上海、越南、印度、英國及美國都有員工。

該公司是獲政府創科創投基金投資的本地初企。林智謙認為,iSource服務機遇大,並將加速發展,公司近2個月已近收支平衡;未來會加大人手於平台研發及銷售,亦會於中國及印度物色更多供應商。

公司正進行A+輪融資,目前籌集800萬至1000萬美元,預計6月至7月完成。
